I have been an affiliate with EGO for years but haven’t been promoting the program very much until recently.

I work with over 100 affiliate programs and so I always use StatsRemote to check my stats for all programs automatically – I haven’t logged in to EGO to manually check my stats since years ago!

StatsRemote works very well with most affiliate programs, so I had assumed the 0.00 income it showed for EGO was accurate every month, I didn’t bother checking. But today I actually logged in and looked at the EGO stats, and I saw that I have had some deposits in the past – since January 2010 there have been 1,657.32 in Deposits, but only 1.37 in Affiliate Revenue.

Can you please explain your statistics system, I’m having a hard time understanding – for example here are some interesting figures from this year :

    January 2012 :
    Deposits : 358.36
    Pending Withdrawals : 484.00
    Processed Withdrawals : 355.00
    Affiliate Revenue : 1.37

I don’t understand your system, with 2 different types of withdrawals – what are the pending withdrawals? How was revenue of 1.37 calculated from these figures?

    Another example :

    March 2012 :
    Deposits : 158.89
    Pending Withdrawals : 0.00
    Processed Withdrawals : 32.00
    Affiliate Revenue : 0.00

Again, I don’t understand these calculations, how can the affiliate revenue be 0.00 when the withdrawals are less than the deposits?

This month seems to be my biggest month so far, with deposits of 852.76 – but my revenue is still 0.00! Is there something wrong with your reporting? Please help me to understand why my account looks so terrible despite having depositors.

    Thanks.

You know they have negative carryover right? So you might still be recovering from a winner, do you promote any no deposit bonuses from them?

    Hi Jam,

Thank you for your post and I will definitely explain your stats as requested but I need your EGO username.
Do you think its possible you PM it to me?

Agnes offered to help and did send me an email, which unfortunately did not explain my stats at all. In fact the email ignored my questions completely, and instead asked for more exposure! I sent another email asking for clarification but it’s been 2 weeks with no reply so I guess it’s too much work to explain exactly what’s going on with my stats, that continue to appear wrong.

I believe the problem may be that their system isn’t tracking income from BetRedKings. There certainly doesn’t seem to be any section in the reporting for income from betting, only from casino and poker. Perhaps their system is completely ignoring any commission from their betting product. Or does someone else have evidence of income from BetRedKings?

OK so this has now been satisfactorily resolved.

It appears the main problem was that my affiliate account was not setup to earn commission from BetRedKings.

In my opinion, affiliate program software should not be able to give the affiliate a link for promoting a brand that the affiliate isn’t authorized to promote. The Income Access software is a good example of how it should work – it shows each brand separately and your exact commission structure for each brand.

Meanwhile we have other systems that are happy to give you links for brands despite the fact you’re going to earn 0% from those links. Why is the system able to give links to affiliates if the account is not setup to give commission for those links? It would take a programmer less than 30 minutes (probably more like 5-10 minutes) to fix this problem so it doesn’t give out affiliate links if the account isn’t setup to earn from that brand.

Anyway in this case it seems I will be compensated for the lost revenue, so that is an acceptable conclusion. And my advice, if you’re promoting EGO then check if your account is actually setup to give commission for the brands you’re promoting!

Thanks Agnes for your assistance in resolving this.
