This industry is getting tougher every year. I guess everyone has figured out how much money online gambling can make lol The idea of competing against Facebook is a little bit intimidating, but I'm not too worried about it. When I hear news like this, it makes me thank god that I have a few decent domain names lol Bring on the competition I say

    Great point!

At the same time... Facebook getting into the space could potentially open doors for affiliate marketing through in-page gaming, no?

It's definitely a double-edged sword. I'd imagine it may be an initial blow, but would later balance out by introducing and converting the concept to people who may not have been interested before. Let's hope those folks seek out more online gambling experiences afterwards.

Very solid point... It may be something where affiliates who want to utilize the Facebook channel at all as a means of traffic would need to get in early, develop a sturdy plan and grow with it. It may become so competitive that only big spenders can afford to get in... But those big spenders would be (hopefully) generating a decent ROI

That would be the best possible outcome... for gambling to become more mainstream like gaming
