However, there are some beers out there that I enjoy. You can't go wrong with English Ales. Ever tried Newcastle Brown Ale? Pretty decent and I think may be considered an English "classic"?

Brown Ale is Newcastle's beer and it indeed a classic and I LOVE it.
British Cider is excellent too! Polgoon Aval is a good example. Goes better in a "hot" summer's day but in January... it will be great too
