    Interesting:

    Webmasters can currently “game” Google’s rich snippets whitelisting and put some fake microformat / metadata on your site to get increased clicks from SERP pages and allowing you to “outclick” those ranked above you in the search results in many cases.

    I would have thought it would be easy enough for Google to find the cheats and punish them, but clearly that site in the video you linked does not have 14925 reviews. I wonder how long they’ve been getting away with it?

    I think these are very risky methods. Google will also notice this hack and punish the sites using it severely. So, I’ll just stick to white hat, since this always pays off in the long run.

    I’m leaning to agree… I feel like this is a short-lived practice that can work, but then perhaps hurting you in the end…
