As Wagershare has yet been considered a fair and good affiliateprogramm from many webmasters, i must report here a pretty bad experience:

I am a longtime affiliate of them, promoting them with more or less success.
Some months ago i made a nice High-roller for them, who won and lost a good money at one of their casinos.

The month he won big, i earned – of course – nothing. As Wagershare states on its homage under their FAQs (WagerShare) – they do not carry over negative balances:

    “Are negative balances carried forward?
If your account has a negative balance because customer winnings have exceeded customer losses, consider it cleared! A zero balance will be carried forward to the following month.
    Close Info”

This fact was also confirmed by email from their/ my AM Leonardo Armani.

BUT: the high-roller played on, and the next month lost. Finally – for the first time – the numbers looked nicer for me. But when i checked the Payment Report, i found, that i did not make nice money ( some 15k +) but much less – as there was stated an “
High Roller – Auto adjustment made in October 2011″ from almost 12k!!!!

So, i asked wagershare again, why this, and this was the answer:

The high roller policy is only specific to that player it will not affect your commission on any other player that you have.
As soon as the player has zeroed you will start to earn commission on the player.
I am sorry you were unaware of this rule, but this is a rare exception. We do not have negative carry over for anything less than $10,000.
    Thanks

So am i unaware of al their rules, or is it more like wagershrae makes the rules as they want, in favor of them not needing to pay out commissions?
If there is now carry over for anything less than 10k, this means, all affiliates should rather send high-rollers to other casinos?!?!?!

This is an unacceptable business-behavior and no proper business.

So be warned about the “specific rules” wagershare introduces anytime they want – bevor you sign up at them!

This rule of Wagershare.com is well over a year old, has affected me and is in my opinion completely fair.
Most companies will remove the no negative carryover rule completely because they lose too much money on it.

    The point is:
As long as your highroller loses, you win, but if he wins you lose. Cant expect to earn 15k on a guy that won big the month before just because he lost it the month after. +15k – 15k = 0
And a fair point to mention, you still earn income from all the other players irrelevant of that highroller so they still take a risk.

Wagershare is a solid company, one of my preferred and have always treated my account fairly. Cant speak for others but I will trust this company a hell of a lot more than most of the recommended programs at cap.

I am aware of Wagershare’s high roller policy. I’ve been hit with it a few times, but I’m always aware of it. I might not like it but I do know about it before I decide to promote them. As most casinos do not carry over any kind of negative balance, it might be worth looking at promoting an alternative brand.

I’ve seen that ‘high roller’ adjustment clause at some other casino site and wondered what it was and how it worked.

Good to know in advance how it works, otherwise I’d be plenty sad when it was applied to me.

Curious how much did they carry over? Did they carry over the amount more than 10k or did they carry it all?

I think it’s ok as long as they fence the player and don’t let this affect the income you get from your other players.

I am coming off as very pro wagershare now I know.

But, instead of wagershare removing all no negative carryover, don´t you think this is a good and logical solution?

Player wins $200 000 k one month then the next month loses the $200k. You are on 40% and thus earn $80 000. The player won his fortune on the 28th and lost it on the 3rd. Is it fair to take $80k from wagershare or any other company for that matter when they earned nothing on said player?

To me, while, being able to earn said 80k would be amazing and I would love a program for it, it´s not that fair and illogical. I am amazed some companies still use no negative carryover for high revshare deals.

And the player does not get banned, simply stated. When he loses more than he has won you will earn revshare on it and it does not spread to any other wagershare casino or player.
