Since Black Friday, both Absolute Poker and UB.com have had their domains seized. However, in recent days, it’s been reported that Blanca Games (who owns Absolute Poker & UB.com) is in the process of liquidating their assets so they can pay (and reimburse) both International and US players.

However, there is a caveat. Before players can receive the money that’s due to them, they must be APPROVED by the US Attorney’s office.

For the full story and details, you can get more info here: Blanca Games, Absolute Poker Will Pay Back Players

Although player payments are starting to get resolved… it appears that affiliate payments are still not being addressed. What are your thoughts? Something does not seem fair about this.

Chipleader always was a horrible company. I know from being a successful affiliate with them. Though I worked with them, I was never happy about it. My marketing activities were making money, so I promoted them. Simple as that. But I always felt ripped off… Signing up more and more real money players, yet getting less and less each month in commissions.

The honchos at Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet have always been scoundrels. For the ones that don’t end up in jail, I’m going to watch to see where those people end up. Whatever company they get hired by is a company I will blacklist, to be avoided forever.

Awful to hear that you endured all of that… Thanks for sharing your experiences here with the community.

Just curious, what programs are you seeing the best traction/ brand performance with now?

We worked with them too and their communication towards us was horrible. We never promoted them seriously, just made a couple of hundred dollars, but the main reason we never put them up in top positions was their lack of cooperation with us.
