96 Sign-Ups, 452 Downloads and Only(?) 1 new player???
Hi quys!
As the title say I have 96 sign-ups and 452 downloads but only 1 of them has turned in to a depositor.
Is this normal? Is it common registrars deposit later or how does this work often?
Thanks

A lot will depend on where the visitors come from and what keywords they used to find your site.
If the visitors were from the US and they were searching for "free casino games" then yes, these stats could be seen as quite normal.
If they were from the UK and searching for "play real money casino games", then I think I would find a different casino to send them to. - 08-17-2011 03:59 AM #4Member

Its very unlikely that customers will deposit later, if they don't do it straight away they usually never will

Okey. Then this is really weird because I have the users coming from targeted keywords...

Not sure on your market or marketing method (which sounds like SEO). I would start testing other operators, a 1.04% conversion rate from sign up to deposit isn't good.
Feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to help you find some better programs. - 08-18-2011 07:40 PM #7Senior Member

are you using direct download links?
these can generate false positives. many of the programs RTG inparticular will register a dl if the visitor clicks a dl link. I'm not sure if it acts the same way from the casino landing page. I would imagine so.
• WTS on Facebook
• Playtech Casinos
• Microgaming Casinos
• Free Slot Games
• 375% RTG Exclusive Bonus
• Deposit Methods - All Players
• Prepaid Cards • Giftcards - 09-16-2011 02:11 AM #8Member

TBH, I would say that looks a little fishy, to have 452 downloads??? We all know these casinos don't have small files, so for someone to spend 2-10mins downloading something and not play in it, or even set up a play account, seems a bit unusual to me.
21% signup rate on downloads seems a bit light in my experience, but then again, I target traffic through PPC so maybe my views are a little skewed?
Still seems strange that so many people would download without setting up an account to have a play?
Timpa, if you want to PM me with your site/key words etc, I'll help you out (I won't crash your party), we might be able to make a few little tweaks to get this turned around.
