Default Google has dropped my Meta title

hi, could someone take a little look at my site and see if their is a reason why my meta title is not showing in search results for google, all that is showing is the site name. The site title has always shown and i havent changed anything other than moving to a new server about 3 weeks ago, the title dropped out of google about 4 days ago, its supposed to read "new casino bonus - Uk casino bonus guide | no deposit slots | mobile casinos. I have read that google can choose to re write this part but too drop it altogeather seems strange, so if anyone could help me out it would be most kind, cheers. The site is Uk casino bonus guide | no deposit slots | mobile casinos

    Hi,

I took a sample of text from your site and searched for it (in quotation marks,)

"This bonus from William hill casino club is especially tailored for UK casino players"

Your title came up perfectly in the search results, shown below:

Uk casino bonus guide | no deposit slots | mobile casinos
This bonus from William hill casino club is especially tailored for UK casino players. If you are a british resident and have not registered an account at ...
    www. newcasinobonuses.co.uk/ - Cached

However, if I search for the term New Casino Bonuses, only your title appears - this is just because you don't have the word "New" anywhere in your META title, but it is in your domain name.

If you were to add the word "New" into your meta title, it should sort itself out, given time..

In my opinion, Google drops website meta to avoid spammers. Many spammers used meta to spam search engines and to get fast ranking.

I't s new thing that google does. For example I have "Bet on horse racing online" - as my title
I do a search for "Bet on horse racing online" (not in quotes) and I see "Best Online Horse Racing"

If you are still in the same place on google I wouldn't worry about it - google is still reading what your page says
(PS - do you have google account setting open? or you gmail open when you are doing a search? Because if you do your search when you do - it will show your sites differently (higher position and diiff title tag)

Hey Shotgunpete, could you show me what you mean? This looks pretty interesting. How did google come to show "Best Online Horse Racing" ?

    Cheers

I think the problem was really to do with my all in one seo plugin, i turned off the option to let the plugin re-write my titles and this is when my meta title disapeared, i turned it back on and a day later the title came back, i didnt think this was the problem so i turned it off again this morning (playing around with how google shows my site) and a couple of hours later google has again dropped the title.

If it is any help, when I used to search for my domain name my image alt tag was used for a while, and then it kept changing between them both. Would be easy to get around if this was the case all the time. I think Google do it to make your site more branded to the user. I can imagine they still count your default meta title, even if they do not use it.

Google will change the title tag to make the search more relevant. I had this happen to one of my sites and it drove me insane looking for the reason. The only thing I could come up with on my own was that google was using a very strong anchor text from an inbound link for the title.
