i have spent the past month trying to build quality links to my site, i have been a webmaster of 3 sites for the past 4 months and to start i accepted any link i could get, now i realise how pointless this is, my sites are just starting to break into the first page for some good keyword in google but because they are only pr0 as they are really new, i cant find any webmasters that want to trade links, i recieve about 10 emails a day requesting links from really poor sites and these emails seem to always come from india (why anyone?) so i ignore them, anyone have any advice as to how to go about building good links, my sites i think are of good quality and are crawled daily by googlebot

Your best slots bonus domain is a very good exact match. In this case, i would primarily focus on adding alot of quality pages to the site and lay it out in a way that will actually convert the traffic you recieve at a high rate. As it currently stands, it is setup very poorly to convert a person who is strategically entering “best slots bonus” or “best slots bonus MORE CRITERIA HERE” into the search bar.

It will naturally strengthen for its exact match term with the adding of well planned and keyword rich pages, It will also get you traffic for any longer phrase containing that term if you do this. This is a much more efficient way to spend your time. You also won’t go as insane by wasting braincells and feeling ashamed for spending time trying to get worthless links for the sake of seo.

Aside from that, to get quality one-way links to the domain, you need to have money or be able to offer some sort of service to a another relevant webmaster in exchange for good linkage.

For quality link trades you’re going to want to actually build up a site that has good keywords in the domain (like bestslotsbonus.co.uk) and then smarter individuals will be exstatic to trade with you in good spots even if the site isn’t very old or showing strong page rank etc.

Link building is the hardest part of having a website. Its something i’ve hard to almost learn over again this year because my main advertising methods stopped working e.g. free directory submissions. The best way to advertise I think is through forums, articles, and blog comments. Apparently social bookmarking is good too, but i’m still learning about how that works. Best of luck, and keep researching till you find all the answers my friend.

Yes I find link building very difficult too. It seems most methods are considered spam, or black hat, or get devalued by google updates. So in the end nothing seems to work for me.

Yeah the same thing is happening for me, the option that I have is to buy links but I don’t have enough money to afford that cost.

Have you considered link building via article submission?

    #816462

I did a little but I need more than that

I used to focus mainly on article submission but with the panda update google seems to have nuked a bunch of my backlinks. Building links isn’t easy, and I’m constantly searching and testing new ideas, usually learning the hard way. Is anyone still having success with article submissions? I find that I get some links initially, but after 2 months or so they disappear (if they are indexed at all).

I’m new in this but I heard the same from other members in another forum
