Default debt reduction, credit reports, insurance

I've been noticing a lot more websites promoting insurance, credit reports and debt reduction services.

Has any one had any continued success in these industries? by continued.. $1000 USD a month net return.

Debt consolidation is a better way to describe that niche. It's a HUGE industry, $1,000 per month is nothing - people make six figures monthly in that space.

When you're saying that the debt consolidation vertical is still very lucrative, are you referring to affiliates generating leads or for the debt companies? Or both?

A few years back, I was very much involved with the debt consolidation vertical, in lead gen. At the time... yes... affiliates were making quite decent money. Consumers would fill-out a simple lead gen form (only small bits of contact data) and affiliates would make any where from $15 to $25 per lead. And lots of affiliates I knew could generate several hundred leads per day... some 1,000 plus. Insane!

And to answer the other question- how it works... A consumer would fill-out the lead via the affiliate's traffic (weather it was search or email) and the lead would be delivered to the debt consolidation company in real-time. But, the lead gen game.... it is a tricky one... not as easy as it sounds... and insanely exhausting!

    Jill,

I had a friend who was doing one that put consumers on a plan where they paid each month, on a recurring basis. I think it was $79 or $99. They got up to 50% of that number as long as the customer stayed with the program. If you do a lot of sign ups and they stick with it, it really adds up as you can imagine. That's my experience, others may vary.

My gosh... you are right... that definitely would add-up. And, it gets consumers to have some "skin in the game" as they are paying for a type of service.

My previous experience was purely on a lead generation model. Consumers would submit their contact information online to get information regarding debt consolidation services. We would then provide debt companies with the leads, and they would try to "sell" the consumer on the services they would offer. A different model than what you're referring to (I believe) and can definitely turn into a bear!!!

HA! Just did... and I have no doubt... When it comes to lead gen, I've experienced a thing or two as well! Just to reiterate, any time you have a CPA model where the user commits to making a purchase, and iron-clad T's & C's are in place that protect the service provider (and mutually protect the consumer, follows all regulations, etc.) and on top of that... users are benefiting from the service- that is AWESOME!!!! More power to you Rock it out!!!
