How are our South African friends coping?

With recent news on the banning of online gaming in South Africa and some pretty tough words regarding prison terms for those who flout the law, how are our SA friends holding up?

I'm seeing very little talk on these boards about it, yet at the past few conferences noticed a lot of SA operators and a few affiliates...this must be HUGE news for you guys?

Any affiliates who were heavily invested in the SA market? Is this going to be massive for you, or is it similar to the US, where those who already gamble online will continue to play anyway?

The Supreme Court ruling has been successfully appealed. Most of the online casinos are operating again and will await the outcome of the this appeal.

Rouge African Palace Casino are taking the high road (lol) and have decided to remain closed until the government passes the gambling bill.

African Palace , omg. Yep, and I guess it's a way for a total rogue to try to become respectable... geez.

I should rather say that an appeal to the Supreme Court ruling has been granted.
