Suggestions please!
I would like to make some changes to the forums and I am collecting suggestions here.
Both affiliates and managers, please contribute.
What would you like to find here that isn't here yet?
What would encourage you to post more often? (Other than a million dollars
)
Any and all comments about the forums are welcome.dominique

I said this ages ago - But I think we need to bring back the post of the week or whatever it was that won the $$$ - At least because I never won it and am now ready

Other things we need and unfortunately its a bit cat and mouse is lots of interesting threads and topic discussions. Much of the forum is
A) Operator announcments (good to read but can't really discuss)
B) Link exchanges
C) Domain/Ad sales
These are all great but they don't generate conversationiGB Affiliate - Events, Videos and Magazines for the iGaming Affiliate Market

Now, most of the content is open / public to any visitor What do you think about to turn it private just for cap´s members? (thread´s titles keep public) I do not know if this will encourage to post more often... However, if you are login you will do. Generaly -as visitor- I just read the content and leave the page / post.

@ Gamblingprofessional: There is a public and a private section - and the private section is subdivided into "all members" ( http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...bers-only.html ) and "only affiliates ( http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.c...y-private.html ) ."
These sections are accessible after posters have become a full member with enough posts to qualify. From the posting rules section:
This way the private area is there for community members who enjoy the help CAP can provide, and is not ever accessible to spammers.Affiliate - Full Access: An affiliate with greater than 100 forum posts will have access to view the private industry areas of the forums, and will have the user title of "Affiliate - Full Access"
@ Alex: re. post pf the week - I have something up my sleeve for that

@Dominique thx for the information about posting rules and users privileges. However, what do you think about not show thread´s content for anonymous visitors? Would this encourage to register and to post more often?

Hi,
Here are a couple of items that I recommend.
1. Better search functionality
2. More list. For example, specific outsourcing companies, international social media companies, solid designers, international contextual networks, conversion tools, popular affiliate blogs, etc. Then we can comment on them as a community with the best ones to try or not to try - similar to this - Ad Networks - SitePoint Forums
This is all for now. - 09-03-2010 07:50 PM #8Moderator - Big Kahuna

I dunno if you can do this but
how about a random audits section,
where you deposit money into a random casino or sportbook or whatever,
then lose the money, and see if your affiliate stats were updated correctly
then post the results -
