I agree, I should have done more research on who we promoted. To be fair though we really only started to promote them in March 2007 and stopped about a year later because of too many backpayments. That's when the weird accounting really seemed to start for players already referred.

As the stats show we have not promoted GW in a long time. This was just an ongoing effort since 2007 to get paid properly. At that time it was hard to get paid because of the UIGEA, and I was simply a poker affiliate who was bringing in casino players as a side affect and was pretty new to the whole casino aspect. I came to CAP, saw they had a forum, seemed like they had attractive casinos and a good commission structure and the rest I take complete blame for not doing more research on the casinos. No sympathy is warranted.

Bizarre, predictable, and very unfortunate I hear the cries for justice all the time by affiliates and players. Stranger though, how is it possible a program dripping with ROGUE manages to keep trucking along? Who all is supporting them? Where do they lurk? Who are they?

The surprise is not them ripping you off rather nothing is being done about it. I prefer action rather than reaction the latter always seems steals the stage. So now what? I assume nothing until the next time. And then at most the same cries will be heard. We need to attack the root of the problem and kill this cancerous program.

Should have done better research? Well it might have helped but some programs go rogue after the fact, For example, Grand Prive to list one amongst thousands. I supported GW a few years back dumped them quickly and gave my account away. Looking back suppose I should have closed the account instead.

I do feel for ya because like so many players you have been duke.

7 Days after your original post, and I wonder if they're in talks with you and if you feel hopeful that they are going to resolve this to your satisfaction?

I'm not holding my breathe. Vipin seems very helpful but Steve has the reigns at that place and as far as I'm concerned, he doesn't give a rats ass about affiliates. Our initial agreement to pay 15% of deposits from August 09 plus Revenue share owed has already seemed to be backpedalling. Vipin agreed I would be paid this, then seems like Steve (the one who was previously holding my earnings until I sent more players) put an axe to that.

Also it was supposed to be 20% of deposits from January 2010 onward and the normal revenue share. This would have brought earnings up to the industry standard in my case of 33%. I settled on this, knowing I lost about $100k figuring they'd never pay me any sort proper settlement and at least the 20% of deposits and revenue share would at least mean I'd earn something in the future. But again, it looks like they've reniged on that deal and it will be a weak 20% of deposits. Ironic considering last month would have been the first month of a respectable pay period.

Funny thing is, the day after I originally posted in this forum about this situation I had someone win over $500,000. Go figure...They since gone on to lose it all back and my account somehow shows a negative manager credits of about $200,000 for the month. I guess credits can be givith and takith at Gamblingwages. I truly feel sorry for this player.

At this point I'm just posting figures to document things for other affiliates because I don't have a good feeling about a positive cash outcome on my part or the players.

For now I wait for Vipin to return for London....

End of January revenues, which I likely won't see a dime of.... . I have absolutely no idea how this calculation was even made.

Steve does not have the reigns at GW. Let's see what Vipin responds with, and we'll certainly intervene to get this resolved properly if you strongly feel they are reneging on an agreed upon deal.

Either way, Vipin answers to Steve and Steve told Vipin to not give me the deal he had promised. Deal was negotiated mid January and taken back mid February by the word of Steve. Dejavu.

But like you said, we can only wait and see.

Looking at the numbers I just do not believe you can make so much money from players that are bonushunters in the first place, free chips promotions from GW casinos etc are normally attracted by hobby players. About 4k in AVERAGE per player : what site do you have mr. top affiliate ??
Those stats can not be true and must be full of errors.

On this image you have -1 depositor..............

If I ate a biscuit every time someone posted about weird GW stats, I'd be a fat bastard.

Hello everyone I am new to the CAP posting forms but I am not new to the industry. I was formally the Chief Marketing Officer for NINE.COM and the 9am brand Affiliate Program, I have been in the industry for over 7 years.

I am now the Sr. Marketing Manager for the Gambling Wages Affiliate Program and I was brought onboard primarily to take care of our most valuable resource our Affiliates!

I am posting in order to reach out to the disgruntled Affiliates and handle their issues personally…I am here to help.
