I don't have spare time, but I'm interested in what you come up with so if/it is put into action then I will offer some of my time.My idea was that this has nothing to do with CAP, instead would have input from affiliates themselves. Of course CAP would be able to list these ratings, or any others. I would code it and hand over to you all, but We need active affiliates for this system to work; ie Dominque, who has a lot of spare time ;-)

Thanks to everyone for their feedback and suggestions.
We will certainly take all of this feedback into full consideration - our goal is to create a certification that is truly unbiased and of real value to both operators and affiliates. Please PM me or comment here with any further ideas or suggestions on how we can improve this.
I will announce a plan once we are ready to implement the changes discussed here and in my original post.Chief Bureaucrat, Casino Affiliate Programs - 02-03-2010 07:23 PM #53
Not to dig up an old thread, but this is very on topic:
It has been a few months since this thread first served as a brainstorm, and CAP has been working hard to implement the best ideas of the community to create a certification system that is truly fair and representative. Thanks to the help of affiliates, affiliate managers and other forum community members, we have come up with a great system called CAP Community Certification.
Community Certification is a way for affiliates to collectively recognize trustworthy and reputable iGaming affiliate programs. The first of its kind, this process allows affiliates to fully control and decide whether or not a specific iGaming affiliate program deserves to be accredited. Once an affiliate program is Community Certified, they will be granted a distinct seal to inform all affiliates that this is a trusted program which has been vetted by their fellow peers. These programs will also be highlighted separately on CAP for their high level of commitment to the affiliate industry.
Full info on Casino Affiliate Community Certificaton can be found in this post.
Voting will take place on the Community Certification page, with new programs going up for vote on the first of every month.
Now that the new system has been unveiled, what are your thoughts? Does it meet the needs of affiliates and programs fully? How would you improve upon it?
