Looks like every day there will be a White House “F-You! G.B.” moment for the media.
The inaugural speech explained how all the bad stuff (partisanship, security, diplomacy) from the previous admin is all going to change with this new admin.
So the first photo from the oval office was of Rahm Emmanuel and the President in shirt and tie working at Mr. Obama’s desk. George Bush had a rule, all men must wear jackets in the Oval Office…so much for that rule.
Today, the President stopped at the State Department to let the staff know that the US will once again be using diplomacy and the State Department will now run foreign policy.
I just love it, every day a new message of what Bush BS is being jettisoned, never mentioning the previous administration or specific things, just a general “There’s a new sheriff in town” message everyday.:hattip:
