Guys the audit of Rome Casino uncovered a number of severe discrepencies within the system. The data confirmed a number of problems and in speaking with Senior Managment at Rome and requesting a response I discovered even more problems.
The problems are at the software level and are not intentional acts by Rome Casino. There are serious flaws in the cookie tracking system. I have being working directly with the engineers and the President of Top Game on fixing the outstanding problems. They assure me they will have a full response to issues and corrective actions they are taking.
During the process Rome and Top Game were fully co-operative and seriously concerned about the problems and getting them fixed. Many are a direct result of this being a brand new software platform and their engineers were unsure of standard protocal for affiliate tracking systems.
I am going to let you know some of the issues being corrected now but this must remain confidential until we release the white paper tomorrow and Top Games official response.
1. Cookie Latentcy – Currently only two weeks.
2. Player attribution – First referer to cookie player gets credit for player, not last affiliate for made actual sale. If the player typed in url then they are cookied as a default house player.
3. Cookie reset by page- If affiliate refers player to index page and user does not sign up immediately and views other pages referring affiliates cookie is overwritten by either default account or different affiliate who cookie them firt in the past.
4. It appears that once player is established and assigned to affiliate if they do a type in and visit main site rather then enter through casino lobby their assignment may be reset. This hasnt been verified by Top Game yet but thats what appears to be happening.
There are other issues which needed attention as well.
Both Rome Casino and Top Game wanted the opportunity to correct eveything so we could indicate that all concerns and problems had been addressed. I granted them an extension until tomorrow for release of the audit results. We were going to release last week but they seemed genuine in their commitment to get these bugs fixed immediately. I sincerely hope they DO fix the problems and supply us a follow up report tomorrow if they dont we will release what we have.
I really hope they fix this because I do see a nice potential here with the software and we need this right now with MG acting like asses! I met a few peps while in Costa that have something do do with this software and I have to admit that they are very very concerned with getting it right. I hope your right and Josh isn’t playing with stats and shaving though.
Josh swears up and down he isnt shaving and the Top Game people admitted the cookie issues existed, so hopefully we can get this fixed. We desperately need more US facing platforms to promote and I am hoping Top Game works out.

We have a problem. I just read the entire white page report that CAP did and it looks like Josh is correct. The reason I did not catch it before hand is because I never got the screen shots from three players so I assumed that they made the deposit, but it looks like they kept the money instead of making that second deposit.
Can you please call me to talk about this because I feel that we need to correct that particular fact. This is turning in to a headach for me. :Cry:
Robin I am really shocked to hear this, Josh has swore up and down all day the audit was faulty and you were not competant and I defended you vigorously. If there was any question about the validity of the audit or what we found in the test I wish to god you would have told me that prior to us publishing the white paper. This could really derail the CAP audit program and affiliates are the ones that will lose out and of course we will look like monkeys. Thats not something we needed with all the other static being generated by GPWA and J Toad.
I thought we were sure there were at least FIVE second deposits are you saying now NONE of those verified out?

Josh is a good fellow don’t stress and like you pointed out there was a flaw with the cookies and that was great to point out to them and to get it fixed. This can be played off in so many was on the forum that neither cap nor rome looks bad trust me Lou dont get yourself all worked up. 1st time around most of the time has errors so don’t beat yourself up over it:hattip:

Lou you guys never showed me the results before you posted them and if you look at my statement I said that I just read the entire report.
There are problems, but the problem I had was the 2nd deposits not being made by 3 members and needed to verify it, but then you said that you were talking to him and then the report was published.
The fact is that it was a mistake made and we all make them and I will admit mine. I’m sorry that this happened too, but it’s a learning experience. You know that I want the best for CAP so we just deal with it and move on.
We should have talked about it. The fact is they do have tracking errors, but we made a mistake on the part I mentioned above. Like I said the problem is that you guys did not include me in the initials talks and then the confusion could have been avoided.
If you look at my spreadsheet it sais that the some of the test players kept the money and because they did not send screen shots i did not know if the problem was with Rome or being miss read until he called me.
Here is one tester that admits to not making the second deposit.

But I have one question. I was one of the first 8 depositors, but you write than no second deposits was tracked. I never made a second deposit! – you never told me to make a second deposit!
