OK, I’ve just (literally in the last 10 mins) joined Market Ace and have a couple of questions.
Firstly, there don’t seem to be any banners or links in the banner management section. Am I waiting to be approved by the merchants or why is this.
Secondly, when I log in from http://www.market-ace.com, it doesn’t redirect to https:// secure pages, so all my banking details and so forth are completely unsecured.
What gives. This isn’t really creating a very good impression so far.

December 1, 2008 at 6:37 pm #788837FedodropsMemberFirstly, I’d like to thank the two of you for joining Market-ace! I hope you have a good time with us.
As is the case with all our affiliates, we had to process both your applications before you were able to see and to claim banner creatives. If you login now, you will find that these banners are available.
Please be assured that our system is hosted in a secure environment, and that all login and banking details are subject to strong encryption that is unique to the Income Access software. IA have a great reputation for robustness and security!
Getting back to the earlier point, once you have been accepted onto the system, the banners become available. This is just the way it’s set up, and not a bug!
I wish you both a profitable time with Market-ace. Email us at affiliates@market-ace.com if you have any further questions!
Cheers,
Jon

Market-ace – the affiliate program for leading UK soft gaming brands SunBingo.co.uk, NOTWBingo.co.uk and JackpotJoy.com.December 1, 2008 at 10:28 pm #788891AnonymousInactiveOK and thanks, that does clear up the first part of my question. I’m glad I have been approved to promote your partners and really, I’m looking forward to doing so – it’s always easier with big brand names, even if it is The Sun/News of the World
Nevertheless, I’m still not happy with your second answer – Income Access may have great encryption, etc. The fact still remains that my bank details and other info are visible under http:// protocol, which isn’t secure.
