After being up for almost 22 hours I just checked my email and found the following! I never knew that I had a passion for politics until this election and after working with the Barack Obama campaign folks online the past few months I”m so excited to see he has planned next! Maybe I can start campaigning for Online Gambling to be regulated next! LOL

    Robin —

I’m about to head to Grant Park to talk to everyone gathered there, but I wanted to write to you first.

    We just made history.

And I don’t want you to forget how we did it.

You made history every single day during this campaign — every day you knocked on doors, made a donation, or talked to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you believe it’s time for change.

I want to thank all of you who gave your time, talent, and passion to this campaign.

We have a lot of work to do to get our country back on track, and I’ll be in touch soon about what comes next.

But I want to be very clear about one thing…

All of this happened because of you.

    Thank you,

    Barack

I’m not sure i’d wish the job on an enemy of mine, but Barack Obama wants it, he say’s he’ll work to fix the problems and bring the country together again.

I don’t know if he can keep the American People on task, but we all have to hope that he is another Roosevelt (either), Lincoln or Washington. Those men and other great leaders throughout history, successfully combined the ability to bring people together and with the strength to push their vision. George Washington turned down being king and kept his soldiers from turning on their government when their pay didn’t turn up in the first years of the US. Lincoln who went to war to keep the country from splitting, etc.

I for one think that President Obama can do it. Bill Clinton wasted over a year by not completing appointments in first year or two, The Obama White House, will likely be the best managed in years.

I agree I think it will be the best managed in recent history of presidents. He’s got a really tough road ahead and I hope the people will stay behind him and give him the chance to be all he can be … so to speak.

And though I don’t know if its been spoken here at CAP but in area where I live which is probably mostly white though I see people of all races … but anyway there is worry some ignorant klanish type will trade his life for O’s.

I hope he’s giving security the attention it deserves because you know even if the organized idiots don’t do something …. somebody will try on their own.

Its a grand time of hope and expectations and I KNOW that I for one wouldn’t have felt nearly so optimistic if Mac had won. I think he was gracious and I think Mac would have tried to be a good president but that he would have in the end listened to his “advisors” who are just more of the same.

I have a feeling O will not seek any advice from those people.

USA has said no to 4 more years of BUSHIT!

This is just one example of how the Obama campaign was ran. They always kept us in the loop and they know that we will be holding them accountable to make good on his promises.

I had a great time on the phones and after we finished with Colorado I decided to join the Ohio callers and my list had McPailin supporters on it and I was very nervous about calling, but did anyway and I’m glad that I did, but it was not pleasant. :D

    Dear Callers,

I wanted to thank you for helping us make an astounding 1,053,791 calls on Election Day. I know it wasn’t easy and many of you kept calling long after you were tired and your voice had grown hoarse, but your calls to get our supporters out the polls helped tip the scales in key battleground states like Florida and Ohio.

    Together we did it!

To help us improve the online call tool for future organizing, please take a
    moment and provide your feedback:

Thank you again! Together we’ve shown that change is possible.
