I’m not sure about any ‘official’ figures Alex.
I can say that roughly 20% of our sports betting turnover is placed on Football and 90% plus of that is placed on the Premiership.
I’d imagine that amongst our competition the ratio is a lot higher in favour of football, with it even overtaking horse racing as the dominant sport to bet on.
We have very little traffic from abroad so can’t really help there but i’d also say from experience that the Premiership is still the most bet on market in football amongst foreign traffic.
Our football product isn’t necessarily any worst than our competitors, we probably don’t have the mass of events that others do but we’re certainly competitive on pricing.
Horse Racing is significantly our biggest revenue driver, it’s where the majority of our marketing is spent and the public perception of ‘the tote’ means we’ll always be associated with the sport.
