Here is what respondants at CNN are voting:
Quick Vote

Like I posted in the other thread (Obama Hatred On Display Again At Palin Rally, Supporter Screams "Treason!"):
Obama won decisively. Period. This was the death knell in the McCain/Palin campaign. Substance, poise & facts win every time & this debate was a perfect example. (Do not get relaxed or take anything for granted though, we all still have to get out there & vote!)Last edited by Erik; 10-08-2008 at 12:44 AM.

I was VERY proud of the job that Obama did! He came out swining and did not back down. Obama has decided that he is not going to be 'meek and humble' at this point and I'm glad to see him show a little assertiveness.
He even did a Palin by ignoring the moderator and making his point once or twice! LOL I loved that part!
What do you guys think about the "That One" comment McCain made in reference to Obama? That was kind of wierd.
Video here.
I'm sure that McCain is thankful that Obama did not take him up on all of those townhall styled meetings because he did not look very good.
Oh and did you notice that the Ladies DID NOT shake hands? I have to google that part.Twitter & Facebook

Did you guys notice EVERY question McSame answered or evaded started out with a totally disengenuous "My Friends" I kept waiting for him to add the rest "Fellow Romans, Countrymen! We come here not to bury Ceaser Errr Obama"....
Did he ride with Teddy Roosevelt too?
And Far Right Wing Drones will be singing his praises again tomorrow. -

I'm glad I was playing the drinking game... Whenever McCain says "my friends" you drank. It made it somewhat easier to ignore his evasive "answers". But I assume most of America wasn't playing that game & saw his answers as totally lacking substance & were hollow. I think the initials polls are showing exactly that. I just spoke to someone on the phone (who's goofy enough to watch Faux News) & even Bill Kristol, the douche that he is, thought McCain's performance wasn't good at all.
Another snap poll:
CNN

McCain 30
Who spent more time attacking his opponent?

Who was most likeable?

I thought it was pretty even. Basically i don't think it will convince too many people to change their vote.
I found it traditional republican "Well fix everything, we're better at fixing stuff, trust us will fix it" with no specifics.
Obama did the outline where he mentions the area's he'll focus on. I don't know that it makes a difference what they say now, but in most cases Obama seems to have thought about the issue and McCain basically says "trust me on this, i'll do better"
I did like Obama's reponse to speaking softly and carrying a big stick.
I suspect Obama's poll numbers will stay at 49-50% come next week and probably viewed as a lock for about 250-260 electoral votes.
If the election were held today, i'd feel much better. -

It's hilarious what they cite as a poll. They are as desperate as McCain
Their poll is just as worthless as a Drudge poll. Those are online/text polls that, as we all know, can be manipulated & are tilted by their audience. Fox online polls or those on Drudge report are weighted overwhelmingly by their audience so you have to expect they'll have totally inaccurate results. Obama seriously kicked McCains arse in that debate & official polls will show exactly that in the coming days.
