Essentially i want feedback on what you think re a matter brought up on another thread on this board

We are going to migrate players across from the old King Solomons software to the new RTG one and the Affiliate on the old software will receive the credit on the new Account.

In my experience however sometimes players do not take this offer up and sometimes open a new account to play on after coming from another Affiliate site.

Please note that the old software is going to remain as we do have players who do not want to change to another version.

Therefore the poll -Should the old Affiliate still get credit for a new account opened even though they come from another Aff site or should the new Affiliate get the credit.

This is your forum guys -lets speak about it as i need to know what the majority think re this.

    Regards
    Greg

Yes, the old affiliate should be credited even if a new affiliate referred the same player again. After all it’s the same casino just different software.

Unless of course, the reason the old player is returning is because he/she will be treated like a New Player (Sign UP Bonus and New Loyalty Program) then the new affiliate should be credited with the referral.

    Greg,

How exactly to you plan on converting the old players to the new software. What methodology are you employing?

    Thanks,

    Hello Pawel

Thats exactly it they will qualify to receive a sign up bonus and we are treating them as seperate Casinos ,what we are doing initially is opening up accounts for a certain number of players that we have identified and have put a bonus in their account .

This account will have the Affiliate Id attached to it if they had an Aff id on the old software.

However if the player does not play on this account and then opens a new another new account from a different site then whos client is it.I am wanting to go with the new Affiliate at the moment.

Please use the poll guys to tell me what you want to happen

    Best Regards

    Greg

Greg, firstly thanks for giving this the time it deserves and not just giving it the brush off.

I tend to agree with what you have proposed, but perhaps with one amendment, but not sure if it could work in practice. Perhaps the existing affiliate gets the credit regardless of how they become a player at the RTG casino, for a certain time period, eg 3 months, then it is open season. Just not sure if you can account for it at your end, but I don’t see why not.

My concern at the beginning was actually not affiliate vs affiliate, rather the affiliate program using the existing player base (which we affiliates helped build) and marketing to it directly. The line about ‘player for life’ then gets turned into ‘player for life of the affiliate program before it gets shut down and reinvented under a different name’.

Based on the above I haven’t voted because my opinion is not as clear cut that it fits into the options.

    Hi James

I hear you and understand you but take for an exmple this scenario.

A player has an account on the old Software that has been inactive for 1 year and we advise this player that he now has an account with a free $10 in it.The player has blocked us out and he does not receive the mail ,2 weeks later he goes to your site and sees a fantastic banner ad and a great review from you and decides well he is going to try this out .He downloads and purchases and plays ,he likes it so much that he continues playing and becomes a VIP .

Now his old account has been inactive the new account we opened for him has not been used ,but he came back to us because of your marketing. You have taken on the marketing costs but another person who has decided not to promote the Casino will benefit from your marketing.

To be totally honest i do not like that ,i also do not think it is fair.

Affiliates will be credited with the players that they have brought into the new Casino from old software but if a player opens a new account then the Affiliate bringing that plyer in must receive the credit for it.That is what i am leaning towards at the moment

I am also loathe to put a time frame on things like this as i might be penalizing people who are actually promoting me and rewarding others for doing nothing.

This is a very important issue to me as King solomons is a big Casino and i intend to make it one of the premier gaming destinations for players.A little bit of a taster for you guys, the Casino is ready but we are not yet marketing it anywhere .

Take a look at http://www.kings.co.il click on any of the game images and you can download the Casino.Let me know what your opinion is on the Casino.

    Fianlly keep the feedback coming

    Best Regards

Greg I tend to agree with you in that scenario. I just want to be satisfied that I am not competing with the actual casino/affilaite program for players that originally belonged to me. I don’t mind competing against other affiliates as I do that everyday, but when I am competing against some-one who is in fact a partner of mine then I have a problem. The affiliate programs already compete with me in PPCs, SEO and in some cases cross marketing.

I guess I’m happy with what you have outlined.

Thanks for the feedback James i appreciate it ,my reasoning is as the old software is going to remain the player has the choice on which platform to play,i am giving the current Affiliate the chance to advertise the new KS platform but i do not want to penalize people who decide to promote me.

Have a great day and speak to you soon.

    Hello Guys

I thought i would tell you that things are progressing very quickly with regards to King Solomons and we are a little bit ahead of schedule with the site at the moment.

I noticed that only 5 people have taken the trouble to Vote

This is an importat indicator to me with regards to your opinions so the more that Vote the better the indication on which way to go

    Have a great Day

    Hello Guys

I see that the vast majority in this case think the same way that i do regarding this matter and this is the way that it will work ,the current Affiliate will get the opportunity of keeping the player but if i will not penalize other Affiliates for marketing me.

A little bit of news ,we are currently testing the new Wager Junction as well as the Casino site ,the English version and it should be released very very shortly .

    Have a great day guys

    Best Regards
    Greg
