I really don't care for your attitude here, if you were to straighten your act up and get legit I would never promote your brand, I find you to be a rude person.OK, the affiliates I know care about one thing only - and that's getting paid. The rest is not as important to them. Still, I value your opinion and if you would like a specific response to a specific incident you have documented I will glady respond.
You must work with affiliate partners that just plain don't give a crap about their players and they will use any and all means to make money.
You have clearly hired in spammers to market for you, I would not doubt if you buy and sell player list as well. I do think I tried to market your casino way back and found the tracking to be off and from there decided to pull banners. If there are any strays up they will come down asap! - 07-21-2008 08:08 PM #33Member

Response to Bonus Streak
Hi Bonusstreak,
I'm actually responding here, so I'd appreciate a little slack...
I won't try convincing you we are doing right by our affiliates because obviously you have made up your mind.
As to our affiliates, I guess if we had more partners like you we could sort & pick...
Concerning lists - we don't do that.
About the trackers - I can look into it and provide you with some additional incentives if you reconsider send traffic...

Virtual, if I were you I'd just give up.
You didn't address the syndk8 issue because you know it is a fact.
You hired people who hurt decent affiliates with blackhat techniques which means you hurt people on this message board.
Not to mention that virtual is on every player blacklist on the planet, including mine.
How can you possibly expect to be welcome here!dominique

Hey Asaf,
For the record I am an affiliate foremost. AGD is a watchdog site, yes, but it was created to help affiliates. It is not used to abuse affiliate programs nor do I do that myself as an affiliate. I will state what I have seen and the syndk8 post was one I came across.
It was not just the post, which was copied in the thread, but GoldVIP had also bought banner placement there until recently.
There is also: xxxhttp://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/introductions/1553-hello-welcome-me.html
xxxhttp://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/affiliate-programs/526-online-casino-ban-us.html
That is another black hat site that GoldVIP was looking for affiliates from.
If you can explain all those, you might help your case out... But giving attitude to honest affiliates will make it difficult for you, I think. Explain the syndk8 and the bhw posts, then hopefully we can understand a little bit more about your program. - 07-21-2008 10:11 PM #36bb1websGuest
6 years in the biz and that's what you come away with?OK, the affiliates I know care about one thing only - and that's getting paid.
that is quite big of you to come here without anyone asking ... to tell us how you still value our opinion even though we're affiliates.Still, I value your opinion
If you were ever in the biz then it was likely in a very shady area considering the entire approach you have ...
I can read your contempt in your written word and find very little sincerity in anything you've said here.
No sense wasting more time pointing out the obvious.
other than thank you to whoever (I can't see and am already in the posting area) it was that brought this bottom-feeder to our attention so I can easily side-step what might have been much more trouble to discover otherwise.
BG is right. Why does one who is fresh out of the gate ... go rushing towards the sewer just as fast as they can go ... advertising for like-minded to come join what I'm sure will be a very merry band when its all said and done.
Why wouldn't you choose to at least TRY an ethical approach before you jump into the dung?
If not for the sake of maybe doing something with honor (which I understand that doesn't mean a whole lot to those who would hire thieves) but did it ever occur that just maybe doing things with an ethical approach might actually be more profitable than doing it the underhanded way?
Did anybody ever stick to the honorable approach long enough to see if it paid off? I highly doubt it. But you might consider it the next time around. Looks like this time around you've pretty well defined what you're about. - 07-21-2008 10:28 PM #37Moderator - Big Kahuna

Response
I am sick one day from work and come back to this... never a good sign. Any i would like address a few things that came up in this thread.
First is the link to the "black hat forum," first and for most this post was made almost a year ago. It was from an affiliate, who we canned for rogue activities soon after this post was discovered. I also spoke with our owner and he assured me that not a single player came via that affiliates' actions.
Second we do not now nor will we ever condone the use of black hats or spammers. I have worked tirelessly to ensure that GVC casino's affiliate know that unethical recruitments techniques will not be tolerated. I know that i have already addressed this will a number of you via PM.
And i again implore you to come to me first with any information concerning rogue affiliates. I hate to see these kinds of things spin out of control. I am here to answer any and all of your questions.

Thank you Adam.
What I would like to hear an explanation of, though, is why an 'affiliate' would then give links that have no affiliate id in these 'black hat' forums.
All links in all of the forums were completely affiliate id free.
And - only after the initial run on Syndk8 (which was a paid bannner and, again, no affiliate link) did the poster 'claim' to be an affiliate.
Originally the person said he was the Casino Manager as I recall. At the very least he was your affiliate manager.
Don't forget about the more recent response to a player who was getting spammed to death (see the CasinoMeister link). This was from Jason Armist, Manager, Gold VIP Club Casino and shows extremely poor taste.
