Is it possible to buy expired, deleted, onhold domains and keep the SE listings ?

It was at one time… to some extent.

Google has taken a stand against that and expressed that they intend to stop it. Presumably, they will wipe out links when a domain has expired.

I’ve heard that about google, but what about the other SE’s ?
It would be nice if you could buy a domain with some Yahoo listings, and keep them. Would’nt you think so ?

I don’t think the other SEs have the computing power to implement anything like Google is/will. (at this time.)

How long is a piece of string? :D

They are worth looking at. I’ve seen Yahoo listed domains that I wouldn’t pay $10 for. I’ve seen others that I’d pay huge sums for, depending on the overall picture and link structure. The Google happenings probably devalue almost everything in the expired market, but there’s still some value out there. (Like you’re saying.)
