Virus?
I recently downloaded the casino properties from United Partner Program (I periodically check what I advertise!), and my virus scanner Nod32 is detecting the following threat:
"a variant of Win32/Adware.Casino application"
And it moves to quarantine. Is this a virus?
Before I never got this problem, is there something new added to the software that is causing this? I'm not ruling out that there might be something wrong with my computer, but I can install casinos from other networks fine.
If anyone wants to check, one of their properties is www.casinolux.com. -

I tried downloading and my Norton picked up the same as a spyware. I think United Partner needs to check this out and tell us what they are up to?

virus problem emailed to affiliatedweb/unitedpartnerpr.
When I download the casino Lux software I also get the message : unwanted program -Casonline- by McAfee. It can block the user to actually download the program unless they press continue what you are doing.
I emailed my affiliatemanager Fleur (affiliatedweb/unitedpartner program) about this (thread) and to give me an answer. She will deal with this asap. I am sure she will because I contacted her just recently.
I hope this will be resolved quickly and we need no longer worry about this.
Best Regards,
Rick -

I got an email from Affiliatedweb, they are aware of the problem (mainly NOD32) and are working on it.

Hi, Everyone,
Thanks for addressing this issue. As Rick mentioned we are looking into why several different virus softwares are listing us as virus and/or Adware software. Sometime when we make an update to the site, this happens (and we made one recently).
In the meantime, I can assure you that nothing about our software will harm your system.
Best regards,
Damian Stevens

Avast has no problem with it. I remember years ago when something similar happened. False positives are common...
Hope those companies remove that warning soon...Casinos Goldmine: Private label casino affiliate program - Ex. Casino 7: Internet casino games online -

We are trying to contact several of the virus softwares that have us flagged to correct the matter.
As mentioned before (and in the preivous response), these are false flags from the software companies.
We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused and are doing everything we can to have these companies remove us from their warning list.

I was mistaken. Avast also flag it as a virus: Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}
with the latest 21st of August update.

Thanks for the follow up. I'll relay this to the technical department. Hopefully we can get this all cleared up soon.
