Thread: Overture advertising question

what works best with overture: link direct to the casino or send them to your site & let them pick?

also can you still buy descent traffic CHEAP? i mean under $0.75 to $0.50?

do you get players using cheap prices under high paying search terms or use not so much used terms?

1. I don't personally direct traffic directly to a casino, because I figure that if they don't like the casino they're gone forever. If they come to my site and pick a casino (new window), and they don't like it, then they're still on the site and I have a chance to sell them a different casino.

2. Yes, you can still buy decent traffice for .50 or less. I never pay more than that myself. You just have to have a lot of search terms to get a lot of traffic.

3. It's harder to get anyone with a cheap bid on a high paying search term. Go for lesser sought-after ones that target the same traffic.


Well, that's my two bits. That's what I've learned from trial and error so far. I'd love to hear what the pro's think.

But I've been earning more than I put in already. Doubling my income every month.

Still have a long way to go before I buy my shiney new BMW.



I'd like to know what the big guys/gals bid on ppc.

That's funny--I started in October 2003 too.

I do a lot of Google Adwords, and very little Overture. I'm willing to spend up to $3 or so per click. (Although I certainly don't consider myself one of the big guys...I've been lucky enough to land 3 whales since October.)
