Hi,
My dutch site about gokken (gambling) starts to earn some money.
I made it in August of 2006 and didn’t change it after that.
My earnings:
– 1,86$ in august itself.
– 60$ in december
– 342$ last month (1 player)
– Banner sale at fixed price (275 euro)Also, my number of clicks/downloads seem to increase over time, even while I have slightly less visitors lately. (I had exactly 1000 unique visitors in 2006.)
So, my question: What growth rate can I further expect if I just keep my site the way it is?
Thanks.
PS/ Subquestion: I sold a banner on every page of my site (which will have an estimated 2000 uniques in 2007) for an entire year for 275 euro. Good price or not?

You can reasonably expect far more growth if you are actively promotiing your site. 20,000 – 50,000 would not be a surprise to me.
The sale of the banner is an expensive buy for the purchaser right now (just 1,000 uniques per year?!!) but could prove a bargain if you succeed.
sigh.gifYou should celebrate your initial success – but also plan for continued exponential growth.
:happydancMarch 25, 2007 at 12:54 pm #731850AnonymousInactiveThanks for the answer.
I will expand the site in the summer, also translate it into english.
Maybe I was unclear, but it is 275 for a year, not monthly. I don’t think that’s high, also because it’s the only banner on my pages. That’s a premium.

I earned about $200 in december and so far in march I have earned over $8000 :hehe:
There seems to be no limit in what you can earn as a gambling affilate :hattip:
March 25, 2007 at 6:34 pm #731866AnonymousInactiveCongratulations on your march commissions! Inspiring!
You’re right, I should spend more time updating the site, but I also have ‘homework’ for other things… and other plans… plus a 1 day a week job with extremely nice pay.
And about the backlinks, I hate doing it (even more checking them), but with my future english site it at least makes sense. For now, I can exchange links, but for most of the visitors (of my link partners) a dutch link adds no value.

You need to work very very hard. Develop your site every day, add new content, do link exchanges, directory submissions. Optimize your site for search engines.
And you will have a great success  I know, I really know it from my experience.
March 27, 2007 at 11:53 am #732044AnonymousInactiveyes lots of hardwork and sleepless nights but it is all worth it, there is no such thing as easy money.
March 27, 2007 at 7:07 pm #732093aaronsmithMemberKeep up the hard work im sure it will pay off! Im a new casino affiliate myself and the hours Im putting in seem ridiculous but like any business it takes alot of time. I have set up other businesses in the past, not casino related but fitness related businesses and none of these were easy. These businesses have eventually payed off and allow me the time now to concentrate on the casino industry which seems to take alot of time but enjoyable to.
March 27, 2007 at 7:26 pm #732096AnonymousInactiveYes it is a lot of hardwork, just keep at it and don’t take shortcuts (spamming, scraping etc) it does not pay off in the long run. Concentrate on your content, link exchange, directory submissions and you will be fine.
March 28, 2007 at 4:44 pm #732293AnonymousInactiveI didn’t expect so many answers anymore, thanks alot!
As I said before, you can expect me back here more often in summer. I am also planning a P2P venture, I will keep you updated about that too.
You are all right btw, TIME is what I need, I look forward to my graduation. (At least for that aspect of life.)
