    Hello!:hithead:
I have been in this business only 3 months and I still have much to learn, I don’t have a real domain site online yet, because I am working on it and still waiting for the domain transfer to be completed, so I am at the moment using few pages on a free webspace provider just to have something online where potential customers can see what I offer and of course I am not expecting to convert much in this way. I am gathering customers especially from a forum thanks to $500 in 1h kind of bonuses, but I have noticed that even though people join the casinos, they just play the no deposit offers and never deposit a coin like real bonus hunters.
Is this normal? I mean for example on 100 clicks, maybe 30 downloads,15 new accounts and no active player at all. Till now I have only earned from my friend losses and the only other one who purchased won quite big!
I gamble too and if I lose on a N.D. bonus, it can happen I give a try to the casino the same with real money, why are not all players like me?:tounge2:

These type offers depend on the casino’s follow up, i.e. retention efforts.

Usually there are little profits until the following month.

Also, all players are definitely not alike, and if you know the source of your traffic (forum) you are one step ahead since you can read everything they have to say and analyze what they are looking for. If it’s all about new bonuses, the players will obviously do a lot of “hit and run” bonus hunting.

    Hi,

I think this is one area I’m qualified to offer some good advice: you’ll get what you ask for when involving the net.

    ask for no-deposit players .. that’s what you’ll get.

asking how to convert these types into real players is like advertising for basketball players and then trying to turn them into football players. Yes, they’re both athletes. But really? what are the chances of turning one into the other on a basis large enough to make it a feasible approach?

    my 2 cents.

probably an area I’ve missed out on then. Personally my experience is that what I posted.

I recall (and this is what my post is based upon) that i was getting free traffic for the keyword sterling silver casino which offered a $15 free nd bonus and despite getting a player for ever 15 hits sent (which is incredible by my standards) … it never amounted to diddly.

better listen to those more in the know than myself then.

    good luck with it.

You really cant expect to make money on free domains either. It cost 10 dollars to register a domain ,it does not even have to be a gambling related domain and serps can pick it up but i am sure there are lots of gambling domains still out there. I bought an existing website that was loaded with free money stuff and all key words were free money stuff.I am gradually replacing the free money stuff with 100% bonus or better offers.I can see the difference already .There are some free money sites that still convert but it takes a month or 2 sometimes before they will deposit.

Forums provide alot of traffic ,one of mine gets me 200 hits per day which is 6000 per month in uniques and i am lucky to get 12 deposits a month on that traffic.

The free spin offers work differently, in my experience they rock.

Yes the free spins are great because most times the player is up and then has to deposit to cash out and will get to like the casino more .That’s what i am doing today plastering my new sites with the free spins banners lol.

I hope I am not posting same thing twice…I have problems posting..
Thank you for your help and for sharing your opinions abaout my dilemma.
I own already a domain and paid hosting account I am just waiting that my site is complete to put it online and that the domain transfer will be done.
Yes free spins are really cool but I don’t understand why they do not convert at all: either nobody wins or, if someone wis from n.d. bonuses, he/she does not dare to deposit to be able to cash out the winnings.
Anyway, I think it is just a matter of time and traffic then everything will change for me. I hope sigh.gif
And most of all, it is important that who signed up under me will be forever my customer, if they are real gamblers,I don’t think they’ll resist too
much to all the promotions casinos will send to their mailboxes after registering:laugh:
    Cheers!

I’m having good success with the $500 Free 1 Hour Promotion ever since I put it in an article along with a supporting banner from each casino mentioned in the article.

Slotsplayer I really love your website .As a player I think it is important we put our player experiences on our websites too.My bingo site I play at does the best because i write about what i like about the place.I also know what I dont like but keep those comments to myself:)I think when we present it from a player point of view all casinos seem to do better.

In my experience, it takes a LOT longer to convert no deposit offers into real money players. That being said, IMO, it will happen….it is a numbers game. The more signups you get, the more chances you have of getting depositors.

Four years or so ago, when I started in the gaming business, it took atleast a year to see any profit from no deposit offers…but the numbers and deposits steadily increased. So if you are in it for the long haul, I would suggest a combination of no deposit and match deposit bonuses….with your main page offering only a few nd’s and a seperate page for the rest of the nds. All just opinion here, and everyone has a different experience in the field.

The problem with no deposit players is that you are attracting people who by the very nature of your focus are concerned about depositing their own cash.

So as well as convincing them that the casino is fun and fair, you also have to work hard to actually convince them that making a deposit is a good idea too.
    :lookaroun

It’s not impossible – but it’s far harder than targetting experienced players who know the ropes and have few issues with making a spend.

It’s not the market segment that I would focus on – we do have one casino with a small no deposit bonus – and it would be fair to say it under-performs compared to “average stats”.

Spends are small compared to experienced gamblers.

I think the biggest bottlneck is the deposit methods, most players want to make the deposit as quick as possible. Waiting to get a NETeller, Click2Pay or Citadel e-wallet certified just turns many players away.

In the state operated land casinos you can use creditcards, debitcard ATM cash withdrawals and debitcard POS (Point of Sale) transactions as well, even personal checks all instantly.

Has anyone ever use PrePaid VISA/MC cards to fund these accounts?
Do they work? I’d be interested in knowing your experience with them.

    Cheers,
