Hi I just received this email to my inbox.
http://www.blog-blast.com/ Blog submitterIt submitts to 5.6 million sites. It sounds interesting but too good to be true. What kind of blogs are these anyway?
It is a spam tool that simply does not work, it mostly works with FFA (Free For All) sites, using a tool like that will only hurt your rankings. The same company (htxx://www.jpeadvertising.com/)has other such tools but if I were you I would stay away.
I thought it sounded strange.. how can they “automatically” submit to normal blogs of normal people out there on the web?
they would use some sort of cURL library (Client URL simulates a browser) and a spider.
BUt they can’t force a linl on a personal blog from an ordinarry blogger!
They spam in the comments part. It’s really a plague, and why I keep my comments closed on my blogs. I could make them login based, but there are also manual submission spammers, and I don’t have time to manage everything… maybe someday I change my mind.
