Hoping that GW goes on vacation!

The President – the bill is sent to the President for review.

—A bill becomes law if signed by the President or if not signed within 10 days and Congress is in session.
—If Congress adjourns before the 10 days and the President has not signed the bill then it does not become law (“Pocket Veto.”) —If the President vetoes the bill it is sent back to Congress with a note listing his/her reasons. The chamber that originated the legislation can attempt to override the veto by a vote of two-thirds of those present. If the veto of the bill is overridden in both chambers then it becomes law.

Gotta hang on to some hope here

So this means that it is not law yet. 888, Party Gaming and the likes should have waited before making ridiculous statements.

Right. That is why this is most likely based on other motives, like takeovers and acquisitions. Nothing else really makes any sense at all.

Yes, that’s true. I’m seing that something is behind the scenes.

A bill that blocks transactions is approved Friday. 2 days after, companies make this kind of statements. They worked for 10 years on grey area, and a new bill that is not law yet, and which is short on the matter of ilegalizing online gambling, scares them. Well, my friends, they are hiding something for sure. I just don’t know what, yet.

Does anyone have a link to the actual bill? A lawyer friend wants to look through it.

    Thanks.

From what I’ve learned from Jon Stewart, there is a step between Congress and the President… which is lobbying.

They cant alter the bill now, he either signs it for national security or he doesnt.
Oh yeah and theres that gambling thing hanging off the back of it.

That would be one hell of a lobby.
