    Hi chaps

I had a couple of conversations in Vegas pertaining to the fact I maintain a database of statistical information for around 160 casinos which populates the Casinotabs site, and whether this could be made available to other affiliates on some sort of mutually beneficial basis.

I’ve been thinking about how to achieve this and have come up with an idea. If anyone is potentially interested in getting plugged into data like reverse times, software, operator, licensing jurisdiction, weekend cashouts, manual flushing and signup bonus etc, drop me a PM and I’ll point you at a Beta of a little tool i wrote today to have a play with to see if this is viable.

    Cheers,

    Simmo!

I like it some good skills in the Java. This would be a beneficial idea, perhaps have it also track for clicks. I realize this is only a beta test version, but I am impressed.

This idea could have many beneficial uses for webmasters. greek39

Thanks Greek. Yes actually I am just building in a “log” to track usage for bandwidth purposes and to track sites using it. Tracking clickthroughs is a possibility too though its probably best done at the affiliate end I would have thought.

See you at Adtech, ICE, Dam or Atlantis then I guess Bonustreak :hattip:

Incidentally while I’m here, someone asked me why its served as an “image”. One main reason is that it avoids duplicate content penalties, plus it’s neat and easy to size and easier to maintain strangely! Also allows for color configuration and standardisation of output and avoids the need for Javascript plugins. That enough reasons? :rollover:

UPDATE: I have replaced the RGB color customisation to now use more normal HEX (HTML) color (FFFFF, 000000 etc) and also added the facility to change the Background color, the Title text color and the standard Text color seperately. For those already beta-testing, its backward compatible with the RGB colors ;)

Here’s a couple of examples of output images which can be sized/coloured how you choose. Each of these images below will update in real time as I update the info in my database :) PM me if you want a quick demo.

Not bad Simmo. I have seen worse.

It’s a pity you can’t make the graphic explode when the bonus amount is changed, thereby forcing webmasters to actually keep up with the relevant information thing, by making them return to get a new gif.

Why not take this a step further and sell a subscription service for webmasters. Something similar to what Vip uses http://vipstats.vipprofits.com/default.asp?campaignid=51102&bannerid=347%22%20width=%22540%22%20height=%22310, but instead of all the information being sports it would be casinos, seperated by software, no deposit bonuses, 100% bonuses ect… similar to what your already doing here, but with much more information that webmasters could seamlessly put on their site with their affiliate codes imbedded for each casino. I would have no qualms with paying for such a service on a monthly basis. Although it would not have the added seo value if it was done exactly as vip does theirs, it wouldn’t be much to it to write a short paragraph or two above the iframe to get the keywords you want to rank for in there so the spiders have something to crawl and index, to get you visitors. And if you did it for sports, poker and casino those webmasters who dont promote these yet could instantly give their visitors a ton more options on places to play.

I only bring this up as this is one of the obstacles I am facing right now. I am working on a new site and it would be so nice if I could imbed all this information with my affiliate codes in there already, it would certainly expedite getting my site up and running. It is so time consuming going to each site to get all the promos offered, cash out times, licensing information, and the list goes on. Not to mention keeping all this information updated. That is where I could see the real value, if I subscribed to a service that always had all the promos updated. You could make this as simple as you wanted, or as in depth as you wanted like even including special hot promotions available this weekend. Maybe even give a short review for each casino, poker room or sportsbook you have in the feed. At any rate, I see value as a webmaster, even if it was nothing more than subscribing to a service that kept everything updated, that I could check on a daily basis, instead of finding out a month later that because I didn’t get an email a certain casino dropped their 200% bonus which I was unaware of, thus annoying my visitors who I send to that casino only to be dissappointed when they to that casino and it is only a 100% bonus. There are many reasons I could find useful for something like this. What about all those poker portals who stick to nothing but poker. Now with one simple page they could instantly have a casino section with tons of content to start making money with online casinos. I bet if someone developed this tool they would pick up tons and tons of subs too. It’s just a thought, but if anyone runs across anything like this that has the whole 9 yards, hit me up and I will be your first customer. I trust you understand I am not knocking this tool in anyway, only perhaps to show those of you who are smart enough to put it together like Simmo a different angle with the tool that you may have not thought of. At any rate what you have developed here is great and I will definitely look at using it. Many many possibilities here.
