Not only Canada
This guy is not a victim of the act of Canada on its own.
If the US would not have a so called "extraordinary rendition" program, this guy could have proven his innocence in court. Or, worst case, would have been followed by the CIA or whatever organisation.
Yesterday, there was a program on Hong Kong television with the title "Terrorism or anti-terrorism - what's the difference?" -

Heads should roll.
Canada should not bow down to pressure to come up with anything for anybody, and the way they did so is not tolerable by any stretch of the imagination.
One thing vaguely positive in the article:
"This is really the first report in the Western world that has had access to all of the government documents we wanted and saw the practice of extraordinary rendition in full color," he said in an interview from Ottawa."
Only in Canada, eh.
