    Greetings!

We all have seen posts with doubts concerning negative carry over issues, so let’s try to compile that information for all CAP certified programs, in an easy place for everyone to see.
The “Negative carry over thread” links to each reply. This will take a while, but it’s time well spent. I like organized information.
This way we will easily see which programs understand negative balances as advertising costs, and don’t carry over.

    Questions:

    1) Do you carry over negative balance?

    2) Is the winning player removed from the account?

    3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?

    4) Any restriction?

    Thank you for your reply!

    Hi there Webmaster7,

This is indeed a good idea, and I am sure that many affiliates will find the information to be useful.

Here are the answers to your questions:

    1) Do you carry over negative balance?
No. All negative balances as a results of player wins are zeroed at the end of the month, and you start the new month with a clean slate. The only balance we carry forward is Chargebacks – carried forward only if the revenue generated is not sufficient to cover the amount of the chargeback in the given month.

    2) Is the winning player removed from the account?
No. The winning player is not removed.

    3) The webmaster has to request a non negative carry over agreement?
No. All affiliates will have the rule applied – no negative balance carried forward as a result of player wins.

    4) Any restriction?
The only restriction that will apply is, as stated in point 1 above, if the negative value is as a result of chargebacks.

I hope that this answers all your questions, but feel free to let me know if you need clarity on anything else regarding our program.
