While I cannot be described as a friend of Sportingbet by any leap of the imagination, I have to stand behind them in this.
I hope the UK will finally get pissed off here. How long can the US trample on their business without any reaction?
The UK should join Aruba and Barbuda. Those guys have guts, and if the UK joined this complaint it would have pull.
This is seriously impacting the British Stockmarket.
Sportingbet’s site is still up. BOS’s site was down the day of the arrest (and still is). Clearly this is a different situation.

Shares in the major online gaming companies have all plummeted after the announcement of Dicks’ arrest. PartyGaming shares fell 12 per cent, to 103.75p; 888 dropped 15 pre cent, to 143.50p with Leisure & Gaming down 33 per cent to 73.50p.source ATE
It’s quite obvious that executives of public gambling companies are clear targets . How far will this crackdown go? And how many more executive arrests to be made? We are expecting a record crowd at the Casino Affiliate Convention in Las Vegas next week – will this arrest affect turnout and attendance to GPWA and CAC?
5 programs have all ready cancelled for CAC. I dont blame them common sense dictates I do the same, even if I am ignoring that common sense at this point.
While I like Vegas I hope that future events are elsewhere. Vancouver still has decent weather in September or else the conference could be in the Caribbean or Central America.
