Hi All,
I’m curious, does anybody set their casino banner and text links to open in a new window via the target=”_blank” attribute in the anchor tag?
Cheers,

Not sure about this but I don’t do it for that reason.
September 7, 2006 at 11:27 am #704867AnonymousInactiveI open all exterior links in a new window. I am using two popup blockers at the same time. I have clicked on my own links and the new window opens.

Currently, all of my links open in my page, however i do wonder if i might keep more of my visitors using the new window option.

Well it is to keep visitors on your site. For some sites it is a nice feature to have. For instance, when adding/reading a post to the CAP forum that contains a reference link, when clicked, it opens a new window so the viewer can easily return to the forum. With amount of forum navagation the average person does without it would be annoying.

Pop-up blockers mostly act on unrequested new window been opened, through javascript etc. So I always use _blank tag.
