    Hey guys,

I’ve only been in the poker affiliate scene for about 2 – 3 months now. I have a rakeback/bonus site up and adding new content and pages every couple weeks. Traffic has been good and all my pages are starting to get indexed.

What I would like to know if how long it has taken some of you to start showing some postive results, in regards to real money players, downloads and of course Profits!

I’ve seen people say it takes 6 months to 2 years. I don’t believe there’s any real good answer here. A lot depends on who you are, what you built and how you marketed.

I remember my first poker signup. Somehow I got minus 9 cents. :D

I decided it would be cool to lose an even 5 spot so I ran out to Starbucks for a drink. :grunt:

I earned some pennies right away, but promoted some pretty specific niches..

And we are talking pennies, for months, I told my husband about every deposit! I’m just now getting to the point where I look at my earnings before the deposit column in my stats, a year or so later, I can now see the SERP difference, I can recognize deposits brought in by search engines, compared to what I had before.

And for the first time, I can’t tell you all of the names of every depositor, at every property that provides the info! hehe ;)

I do get sidetracked though, I’ve written more than 1000 articles for other peoples sites in the interim, as well as forum posting, moderating, and then the opening of http://www.spiceyournet.com .. soooo.. if I’d have put ALL that effort into my own sites, I imagine I could have brought that up in the SERPs a lot faster, im not complaining though, aside from this pnemonia that just wont go away!!!!.. I’m a pretty happy girll!

I haven’t had a deposit for poker in over a year – since I started. Poker for some reason is very hard, but i just assumed that pokerstars was the best one out there (my favorite) and thats why no one signs up on my site. Plus I’m not very good at marketing poker for some reason.:yang2:
