I’ve just installed the beta version of Internet Explorer 7…

It seems the default security settings are preventing cookies, or at least store them to a different, controlled folder… The usual “cookies” folder does not exist anymore…

Anyone knows anything about this? Can it become a threat for affiliate industry, that’s mostly based on cookies?

    Interesting.

So assuming this became an issue and cookies were no longer useful, I guess that would mean that a visitor would have to download in that particular visit. Hmmm. I can see a positive and a negative in there. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

    Now…how’s their tabbed browsing??

    Simmo!

    The Sky is falling! :banger:

There are many ways to track traffic other than cookies. More to the point the location of the cookies folder isn’t what tracking systems rely upon anyway.
