    Default Disabling Right Click

    Question,

When a site disables right click.. it is only on their site right?

I write various reviews and articles for alot of the members here, usually, if I am doing a review, I go to that persons site, copy a review or two they have into word, and then follow that format as I type my review for them..

I am going crazy, every now n then, I'll go to a site, my right click wont work, no biggie, I just swap over to the kb.. cntl C .. go bk to word.. and it still doesnt work! It will not work again until the next time I restart..

Is this a pc issue.. or does it have to do with people protecting themselves from content theft?

    Thnx,

    LadyH

If right-click does not work, try control + c for copy.

Can you go to the top of the browser under "view" and then "view source"?

if you cant see/get to the source code from explorer, go into tools/internet options/ and delete temporary files ( think it's ok to keep cookies). It will take a couple of minutes, so if you think the browser "locked up", it probably didn't. Close all browsers afterwards, restart and hopefully "View:Source" will now work.

AmCan is correct, usually it just means your Temp Internet files are full. Delete them and it should work aok.

Hi, If you use Internet Explorer, you can add the "Edit with Notepad" button to the Toolbar by opening Internet Explorer, then going to View> Toolbars> Customize, selecting Edit and clicking Add.
Then you should always be able to View Source with one click!

Sometimes this happens to me. I either switch over to FireFox or I back up a page or two then re-surf to the page I want to see the source of. The worst sites to view are dynamic based body sites.
