Well, after writing both the True Poker affiliate program and the poker room, i’ve decided to post this here.

First, this was a crappy affiliate program from day 1, made very little money. Then last year they locked people out of their affiliate accounts and told us to email them for new loging info, which they never sent me.

    So, i wrote them off.

Over the last few months i’ve received emails that my affiliate commissions have been transferred to my player account. I went to my account to cash out and it won’t let me. Then I wrote asking why i couldn’t cash out. The player support replied and asked for my cashout info. I replied back with my neteller account number and associated email and received a reply back from support “the people you need to talk to are in tomorrow”. Well, needless to say, after an email or two to the affilaite program and another to the poker room, I still have no answer and my money is still not available for cashing out.

I have of course, managed to lose a couple of hundred in the pokerroom, so it’s working for them as a new way to generate rake.

If you work with these people, please hook me up with a contact, lest i spread the bad word about them througout a cynical world. :stirpot:

AmCan, I have a very similar story. Wrote to them in January asking where the payment was and they said I had to open a player account. This requirement for download sites really annoys me as I now have to pull out the old WinXP computer (I use a Mac now), download the software, join etc. The payments were transferred to my player account and now I have to deposit $20 via NETeller to confirm the account and then I can withdraw the funds, including the $20. So much effort for about $60 that I don’t know if I can be bothered with it.

Can’t help you on the contact side of things because I’ve just looked at all the emails I have received and they are all signed with things like, “The True Poker Crew” and other nameless BS.

Another reason to avoid them is they openly allow rakeback. Unless you are an affiliate that uses this functionality.

    Thanks for the story Jarvi.

I deposited $20 via neteller and then it let me attempt a cashout, so i’ll know if a day or two if they really pay me.

what a bunch of nitwits, they couldn’t figure that was the problem, we needed to post and chat here to get the solution. LOL

AmCan can you let me know if it works. No use throwing good money after bad if it doesn’t work.
