Got this in my mail today:
Dear Affiliate
You are receiving this because at some stage you subscribed to the affiliate program for Rakeback Poker. If you did not follow through please accept our apologies for emailing you now but we have been asked to email all affiliates by Prima.
In order to comply with new rulings at Prima about the mentioning of rakeback on its poker room network, we have re-branded Rakeback Poker to AceFlush Poker.
Also we have been asked to ask you to limit the amount of rakeback you offer in public to “35%+”….but you can still offer anything up to 45% in private.
We would be grateful if you could change any adverts for 40% ASAP.
What this means for your existing players:
1) Nothing!
2) Those playing now will simply see the poker room as normal except there will not be a Rakeback Poker logo in the top left corner of the poker room but an Ace Flush Poker logo.
3) They will be able to continue to access their rakeback as normal.
Incidentally whenever a new player signs up in future you might want to give them the following instructions to access their rakeback
To access your rakeback at Ace Flush Poker all you need to do is the following:
1) Log in to Ace Flush Poker
2) In the Lobby you will see a button on the bottom menu “POKER ACTION”
3) Click “POKER ACTION”
4) The Screen will change and you will see “Rakeback” in the menu on the left hand side
5) You can then get your rakeback on a daily basis
What you need to do next:
1) Log in to affiliate system at http://www.rakecity.com and visit the creative section and replace any creative you have advertising 40% with the new ones advertising 35%+
2) You can choose a link to a default page for AceFlush or a direct download link which we find generates a higher conversion rate…
3) If you do not remember your login to Rake City then please visit http://www.rakecity.com and select the “contact us” link. They will be able to help you with inquiries.
4) Details on creative etc are below my signature
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
Kind regards
Rob
So Microgaming has decided that Rakeback is a dirty word.
What does that change? Nothing, just a bit of censorship.

March 8, 2006 at 6:35 pm #685706AnonymousInactiveThat makes sense.
