Golden Arch Casino
Why They Are Rogue
This notorious casino finally met its end at the hands of the Federal Government, but is still worth keeping on our list of Rogue Programs. For years, Golden Arch casino offered predatory credit practices to players and shady dealings to affiliates. Perhaps worst of all their offenses was offering players a line of credit without their permission when their account fell under $300. This meant it was possible for players to go deeply into debt while assuming that they still had a positive balance
In early 2011, the company was caught up in a sting staged by Baltimore Police. The police created a fake credit card processing company to help nail the company for money laundering and gambling charges. Given the severity of the charges they’re facing, it’s unlikely that Golden Arch will be back in the casino business anytime soon.
