Expekt is a limited company, based in Malta. The company offers online gambling and gaming throughout Europe, and has bingo, sports betting, poker and online casino options in it’s stable. The company offers it’s services throughout Europe though, and it has subsidiary account managers in each of the countries it operates in – good news for non native English speakers!
Each of the programs in the Expekt program bundle offers slightly different commission structures, and the commission structure is based on actual bets, less fees and administration charges, instead of on gross revenue. So, for instance, if you market sports betting, you would earn the revenue of the bets, less tournament fees and bonuses, an administration fee of around 12%, and charge backs or fraud. It makes for a trickier system, but it does mean that in theory, you could get a large chunk of the earnings off each player.
The real test of any affiliate program, however, is how the affiliates themselves are treated by the company.
A quick review of online affiliate forums reveals that while there are a few hitches here and there (to be expected from a company that operates in more than a dozen European countries), there are very few complaints about payments and other important issues. Not only that, but those that are raised with the company are handled professionally and swiftly.
All in all, the Expekt program seems to be legitimate and above board, and barring a few hitches here and there (notably when they changed poker networks in 2005) there are limited reports of issues with the company.
